February is Career and Technical Education Month, or CTE Month.
Open to the public, Central Tech’s Open House is an annual event occurring the Sunday before President’s Day. This event gives the community an opportunity to see first-hand how Central Tech prepares students for the workforce utilizing the latest in technology.

Our Diesel and Welding classes on the Drumright campus collaborated once again this year to participate in the Community Action Project competition through SkillsUSA. 🤝
Students worked on fabricating and welding a handrail for the United Methodist Church in Drumright. They received additional help from fellow students in the class. Teamwork makes the dream work!

Welding students from our Drumright campus collaborated on a community service project for their SkillsUSA competition.
Their project, named "Project Miss Cindy", was part of the High School Community Action Project category. Upon choosing to support Miss Cindy, they organized fundraisers by selling their artwork and setting up a photo booth. Together, they successfully raised a total of $2200 to assist Miss Cindy in her fight against cancer.
Their competition will start April 21st. Let`s wish them the best of luck! 🫶
