Central Tech will send 9 students to national SkillsUSA contest June 24-28 in Kansas City in 7 events after placing first on April 22-23 at the Tulsa Convention Center in Tulsa, Okla.
Central Tech’s first place medals were in the following events; Community Service, Job Exhibit Makeup-Fantasy, Criminal Justice, Job Skill Exhibition, Carpet Maintenance, Architectural Drafting, Motorcycle Service Technology and Technical Drafting.
Central Tech students medaled in 17 events. Students placed 2nd or 3rd in the following events; Electrical Construction Wiring, Community Action Project, Related Technical Math, Carpet Maintenance, Entrepreneurship, Advertising Design, Industrial Moto Control, Robotics and Automation Technology and Internet Working
