Health Careers students on the Sapulpa campus had an unforgettable day thanks to Jamey and Chesney from the Drumright Fire Dept. đźš’
From applying tourniquets and splinting fractures to managing neck lacerations and moving unconscious patients, our students got a crash course in emergency response. They even suited up with SCBAs and practiced accurate blood pressure readings.
The highlight? A mock mass casualty scenario featuring a house fire and multiple vehicle accident victims, teamwork and communication were key!

The Auctioneering Basics class kicked off last night and students were excited to get going!

A new class of CNA students, including a husband and wife duo, kicked things off by learning how to feed each other.
đźš’ Central Tech hosted a 16-hour Water Shuttle Course this summer, equipping local fire departments with essential skills to draft water from static sources and efficiently transport it to incident scenes. Participating departments included Drumright Fire Dept., Mannford Fire, Olive Volunteer Fire Department, Shamrock Volunteer Fire Dept., and Silver City Fire.
